The foundation of the Jean-Pierre Aubert Research Centre, a joint organisation combining Inserm and Lille 2 University, is a crucial challenge for the development of medical research on the County Hospital site in Lille.

General objectives

The global objective lying behind the creation of the Centre is the combination of teams capable of actively conducting research projects within an organisation providing to them an optimum administrative and technical environment. The purpose of the Centre is to be a stable and visible organisation, developing its own scientific strategy relying on teams selected by its managers on the basis of the quality of their projects, subject to a scientific assessment, and of their adequacy with its objectives. It should be capable of anticipating and handling changes affecting its teams and staff.
